1. Pil bölmesine 2 adet 1.5VAAA pil takın ve pil kapağını kapatın, ardından cihazı açmak için güç düğmesine basın, cihaz 7 değerini gösterecektir.00.

2. Her ölçümden önce probun yüzeyini temizleyin. Ölçülecek toprak çok kuru ise üzerine biraz su serpin ve ölçüm yapmadan önce yarım saat bekleyin.

3. Insert the metal rod of the instrument vertically downward into the soil for about 150mm, allowing the wet soil to contact with the metal surface of the probe loosely, never pressing it too hard. The instrument will display the soil PH value. For accurate measurement, wait until the value become stable before taking a reading, and take several area measurements to obtain an average. Press MODE button to switch between displaying soil moisture, temperature and PH. It will display "HI" when the measured PH value is greater than 8.5 and "LO" when the measured value is less than 2.0
